Gift Card Holder Instructions

Gift Card Holder
Shown with a Christmas theme, this gift card can be easily made for any occasion!
You only need to cut 4 pieces of paper to make this cute gift card:
*Cardstock for base - 4 x 8" and score on one end at 2 3/4"
(I used Tulip)
*Cardstock for fold over sentiment - Cut 4 x 3 1/2" and score at 2" to make card 2 x 3 1/2" (I used white)
*Cardstock to mat Sentiment Card - Cut 2 1/4" x 3 3/4"
(I used Creme Brulee)
*B&T paper 3 7/8" x 2 5/8" for bottom of the card. (I used the striped paper from the the Creative Basics Jingle)
To Assemble:
1) Fold Cardstock base on score line toward the front of the card. Do not attach yet.
2) Attach B&T to bottom of card, centering for a 1/8" border.
3) Punch out a circle on the right side of the card - JUST the cardstock and B&T paper, NOT the back of the card - to make a thumb pull for the gift card.
4) Use adhesive on just the inside left and top of the card to close the gift card holder. Remember not to use adhesive where the card will be going!
5) Center sentiment mat on the top part of the card and attach.
6) Stamp desired sentiment on the front of the sentiment card, and attach to the center of the mat.
7) Embellish card as desired. (I used D1366 Holiday Trinkets)

Creative Cards

I love these cards that we did at Convention as our Consultant Make and Take!

Convention Excitement!

I just returned from the Close to My Heart Convention in Minneapolis, MN and had the BEST time with my friend and downline, Jennifer! I participated in both a layout and card swap and got some real winners back! I also took a business course in blogging, and decided to take their advice and have a blogging site name that is similar to my e-mail address to make it easier for people to find my blog, and see what I have done, or are sharing...so here goes!
